RISE Escape Rooms will be Closing January 31st

In an effort to focus more time and energy on our Haunted Attractions, we have decided to shut down the Escape Rooms at the end of January. We've had a blast having guests come out and play our games and experience our creations. We've received a tremendous amount of positive feedback on the quality of our rooms and the customer service we have provided which makes shutting down very difficult. We have expanded our hours and days of operation through January 31st to allow more opportunities for players to visit before we close.

What is an escape game?

Escape room adventure games are a new brand of entertainment sweeping the world in full force. The concept originally began as point-and-click computer games wherein players had to escape the room and were only successful in doing so by completing various sets of clues and puzzles. RISE Escape Rooms tackles the same concept found throughout these games, but delivers it to you through real world and real life immersion. You and your team are locked in a room with a specific scenario and have exactly one hour to escape and make it out. Through teamwork, logic, problem-solving and story progression you will have the opportunity to take part in a live cinematic event and experience the true thrills of adrenaline pumping adventure.

Is it scary like RISE Haunted House?

No, there will be no scares or actors involved in any of our rooms and all of our games are mild in content. Although we may own and operate a haunted house throughout the Halloween season, we like to consider ourselves avid, year round thrill enthusiasts.

Is it possible to reschedule a game that you've already booked for a different date or time?

No fee will be charged for rescheduling an appointment slot and all appointment changes must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled play time and can be done online through our website. There are no refunds for cancelations or rescheduling opportunities allowed after this time. There will be no extension of time offered for late arrivals and your play hour will continue as scheduled.

What if I need to cancel?

There will be a cancelation fee required for all credit card purchases and refunds are only granted so long as you notify management of the cancelation at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled game time. There are no refunds for cancelations allowed after this time. For any assistance or to cancel a previously scheduled appointment please contact us.

What happens if there is an emergency? Are we REALLY locked in the room?

Realistically, no. We're pretty sure that would be illegal and dangerous for all parties involves. The door upon which you enter your game, will not be the same door that you exit from upon a successful escape from the room. The entrance door will always remain unlocked and available for any participant to leave at any time of their choosing for whatever unforeseen circumstances may arise. However, please be aware that should you opt to leave the game at any time, you are thereby forfeiting your participation from the game itself.

What happens if we aren't able to solve all of the puzzles in time and escape the room?

Don't worry, we'll let you out of the room after your allotted hour is up! As much fun as you may have, we wouldn't want to keep you here with us forever! Our game masters will be monitoring your game throughout the course of play and will be providing you with clues, hints and encouragement as needed. However, they aren't looking to give out freebies or answers that would otherwise destroy the challenge offered by the game itself, so be sure to bring your thinkin' caps!

What time should I arrive?

We ask that you arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to your appointment booking so that all involved parties can fill out a simple waiver form and so that we might answer any and all questions that you have. You will have exactly one hour from the marked time of your booking to complete the game and escape the room. Afterward, our game masters would be happy to hear from you and any feedback that you might have to offer, as well as guide you through any puzzles that you may not have been able to figure out. Our staff will also take the time to collect a group photo with you and all of your teammates for our leaderboards and social media sites, all you need to provide is a smile and your team name!

What if I'm late, can I still play?

Late arrivals will be permitted entry for playtime but the original hour of their appointment that was previously booked will not be extended, resulting in less game time for you and your team. There will be no refunds offered for late arrivals or no-shows.

Will my group have the room to ourselves?

We understand that many of our customers may share in the desire of wanting to enjoy the experience offered at RISE Escape Rooms privately and amongst their individual group, however our games will remain open to all interested players until the maximum occupancy for each appointment has been reached. That being said, the only way to absolutely ensure a private booking for you and all of your family and friends is to buy all of the available tickets for that appointment.

Can we bring more than the allotted number of people?

We set a recommended number of participants for each game in order for all of our guests to receive the most optimal experience possible. If you are hoping to overbook an appointment for your team, management would be happy to try their best in accommodating all members of your group. What is the minimum number of people recommended?

The minimum number of people recommended for optimal gameplay varies depending upon which room you are planning on booking. That being said, if you have fewer than the recommended number in your party? Please try to book a time slot that already has other players assigned to it. Since these are escape games and not the Hunger Games, they are based on teamwork. It will only stack the odds against your favor if you choose to participate with an undersized party.

Can you book the same room more than once?

No. The puzzles and throughput for each game will not change based upon reentry. The object of the game is to escape the room in sixty minutes and is meant to be both a fun and rewarding trial! But don't fret, we've plenty of other rooms that you can book for an all-new experience with completely different content! Will you rise to the challenge?

Is the subject matter appropriate for kids?

Participants must be over the age of 13. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. For information regarding entry for participants that do not meet the standard age requirements, please contact us prior to booking.

Are "Walk-Ins" allowed?

Unfortunately we book all of our games through appointment only and use an online ticketing program to ensure that all of our players have the optimal experience. All of our tickets can be purchased for a time slot and date that best fits the convenience of your party online at riseescaperooms.com under the "Book now" tab!

Do I have to book online?

Yes! It's much more convenient for all parties involved and ensures there is no human error made with potential mistakes of double booking. We also advise you book your game as far in advance as possible, to ensure that the time and number of player slots you are looking to book will be open and available.

Where are you located?

RISE Escape Rooms are located on the outskirts of Hammond at 10334 LA-442 in Tickfaw, Louisiana. Our facilities can be found right next to our haunted attraction (RISE Haunted House): Exit 36 - 3 miles from west off of I-55.
